Your live trip is always shareable. You do not need to explain your route or read out a plate number. One tap sends everything.

What the share link shows

When you share your trip, the recipient gets a live web link (no app needed) that shows:

Your current position on the map, updating in real time
The driver's name, photo, and vehicle plate
The planned route and estimated arrival time
A trip status (en route, arrived, trip ended)

The link expires automatically when the trip ends.

How to share

During a trip, tap the Share trip button on the ride screen. Choose WhatsApp, SMS, or copy the link. The recipient sees a live map immediately.

Trusted contacts

You can pre-add up to three trusted contacts in Account > Safety > Trusted contacts. When the female-driver night safety mode is active, or when you manually trigger it, these contacts receive the live link automatically at the start of every trip, without you having to remember to send it.

Route deviation alerts

If the driver takes a route that deviates significantly from the expected path without a known traffic reason, Ryde will send a push notification asking if you are okay, and notify your trusted contacts at the same time.
